The Department of Biotechnologies is an educational and professional organizational unit made up of teachers and associates of the Academy who were elected to positions in the same or related biotechnology subject areas. The department coordinates the implementation of two study programs at the basic applied studies: Plant Protection and Food Technology and Nutrition, and two study programs at the master applied studies: Phytomedicine and Food Technology.
